Appointed Actuary services for general insurance

With considerable experience in the Appointed Actuary role, Taylor Fry Consulting Actuaries are well suited to provide this service.

Currently, we are the Appointed Actuary for approximately 20 licensed insurers - the exact number varies from time to time. In addition to this, we hold a number of External Peer Review roles.

At Taylor Fry, we are not satisfied with simply turning the handle; rather, we continually look for ways to improve our services. We are also keenly aware of the need to work to strict deadlines and deliver work in a timely manner.

Our strength is in technical work, so where appropriate, we use sophisticated statistical techniques to estimate outstanding claims reserves, premium liabilities and risk margins. However, note the "appropriate" in the previous sentence. We will only branch out from more traditional valuation methods where these will add value to our clients.

We are also well placed to offer other services to clients, either those offered by our actuarial or analytical divisions.
