Julie Sims

Experience:

Julie has worked in the general insurance industry since 1999. She was a key member of the design, testing and support team for Insureware's software for reserving and pricing long-tailed liabilities, before joining Taylor Fry in 2007. Prior to that, she worked as a mathematician for BHP Research in Melbourne for 12 years on projects including scheduling, expert systems and simulation, and as a petroleum engineer specialising in oil and gas reservoir simulation for British Gas in London for 9 years.

Since she joined Taylor Fry, Julie has worked on a variety of modelling projects, including the application of adaptive reserving robots.
